Gold On The Inside

So the goal is to do two fun activites a day while on the road trip. So far, we have been doinng well. Activity number one was the petrified forest. For those of you who don't know what petrified wood is, look it up. For those who do know, it was wild. You see it, but it doesn't register. Wood into rock. Wood, rock. Crazy. Beautiful national park, however. You drive out into the middle of nowhere to see these pieces of petrified wood. We were alone at a spot for about ten minutes, no one for a couple of miles. It was so silent, that your ears actually make things up to try and hear. Not even a bird calling, just the wind. It was amazing.
