The Search is on!!!

Couch surfing, dogs with diarrhea, and a city that seem to have as much integrity and identity as the booger shugar addicted pop culture star wannabes that inhabit its streets. Uh. Got in on Friday. Started the search on Sunday, to no avail. Monday went alright, until a change of plans occurred. Helen and I were planning on living together in a one bedroom. We had forgotten that we had talked to our mutual friend Chirs about the possibility of a two bedroom. So, halfway through the day, the plan changed and we searched on. Monday was full of crabbiness and quiet time in the car. We got over it quickly and searched on through the rest of the day Monday, and started fresh on Tuesday. Tuesday we were armed with a list of two bedrooms, and a tight itinerary. We then found a place in Beachwood Canyon. The street is amazing, the apartment is fantastic, and the garden on the side of the building is beautiful. When you walk out into the street, and look north. bigger than the cross in the Texas, is the HOLLYWOOD sign. Cliche, right? But, fucking dope, trust me. I think the sign would be a great daily affirmation of why I moved out here. We loved it, filled out an app, and are waiting to here from Henri(you know, how the French say Henry). Above is a picture of the front of the building. I would love to live there. Friends of mine that have had Chicago apartments, this is a whole new fucking ball game. The buildings look cheap and thrown together like a cheap pant suit. Tomorrow the search resumes. Up early and checking craigslist. Wanna have some fun? Check craigslist Los Angeles for two bedrooms in the L.A./Hollywood adjacent area. Have fun. Will post some good pics soon.

If I am not mistaken, this is where the show "Joey" was filmed. At least the outside front part, with the gates.

Glad you have a "home"...feels good to be settled. Some cheap furniture and a place to lay your head and off you go.
Love you.
